Richard is a born and raised Calgarian from Alberta Canada. His roots are deep in Alberta being born into agriculture and at the time the era of computers in various family businesses. Richard learned early on from various family members about a wide array of industries and took those life experiences with him in his multiple industry careers. From farming to the hospitality service industry to the daunting world of finance to the passion of building things as a Master Red Seal Electrician. With such a wide array of life experiences and education, it became evident to him how naturally he fit in the world of project management and consulting.

Developing this skill set in the construction industry specifically in health care allowed Richard to see the broader picture of project management by managing non-titled Project Management Office’s (PMO) program and portfolios as a health care owner representative for the Calgary area. Now with over 20 years of experience specializing in health care construction, he has not only become a Project Management Professional (PMP), and a volunteer with the local PMI Calgary chapter as a mentor but also has created a new program "Project Management As Service Plus (PMAS+) ®.
